Brilliant tool. Its just plain simplicity. We've struggled in the past with some of the older U-shape style crown race removers that just don't do the job very well at all (especially if you have suspension forks). The only decent alternative that we've found is the Park Tool Crown Race Puller. Unfortunately to get their heavy duty over complicated device you're looking at over £100... I'll say that again... OVER £100! The Ice Toolz one is perfect. Clamps around the base of the race and with a couple of quick taps the crown race comes off uniformly and undamaged. One of the best innovations we've seen in a while.
