Bikegoo can now offer professional cycle servicing for all types of bikes from our fully functional cycle workshop in Hartfield. Your bike will be in safe hands as all our servicing is conducted by our Cytech qualified mechanic.

 

So what sort of servicing can we offer…

 

Well first off we offer a free (yes that's FREE) safety check for your bike. Once we've had a look at it we can recommend any further work you may need. You are under no obligation for us to do the work if you don't want us to.

 

If you would like a general service, we offer 2 options:

 

- Frame and forks wiped down and checked for alignment.

- Hubs and rims checked for damage and wear.

- Hub bearings checked for free movement and adjusted if necessary

- Tyres and sidewalls checked for wear and inflated to correct pressure.

- Wheels trued and spokes re-tensioned

- Headset checked for free movement and adjusted if necessary

- Bottom bracket checked for free movement and adjusted if necessary

- Bolts checked and tightened to correct torque

- Gears - Cassette Removed, cleaned, checked for wear and re-lubricated.

- Chain checked for wear, cleaned and relubricated.

- Brakes - pads/blocks checked for wear.

- Brakes checked for effective operation and alignment.

 

 

- All components removed from the frame and inspected for wear and smooth operation.

- Headset disassembled checked and re-greased

- Headtube faced and reamed if required.

- Bottom bracket removed removed and regreased

- Bottom bracket shell tapped and faced.

- Any other threads tapped to remove corrosion or damage.

- All components re-fitted to frame

- Full set of new cables fitted (included in £80 cost)

 

 

Aside from the services listed above we can do all sorts of individual cycle maintenance jobs from fixing a puncture to fitting a headset or building a wheel. Please contact us or use the enquiry form above and we'll get back to you with a quote.

 

We are more than happy for customers to drop their bikes off at our premises or we can pop out and collect your bike from your home or work address. We'll even return it back to you once the work is complete if you like*.

 

IMPORTANT: Our workshop can become very busy so we do ask that customers contact us before bringing your bike to us. We can then book you a timeslot that is convenient for both you and us. So please call us, email us or use the enquiry form above to let us know prior to your arrival.
